The big pharma company I work for is currently restructuring its operations. Western European ops (and jobs) are being moved to eastern Europe & India. US facilities are also being run down and shifting to Singapore & China. Profits should increase further into 2010. We're mostly getting £100k severance a head where I work, so not many complaints. No more decent jobs for our kids though, but who cares about our future anyways... :(
