In Canada, pharmaceutical ads on TV are not allowed to mention what a drug does. If it does, then it's not allowed to mention the drug's name. The thinking is that people shouldn't be going to their doctor to ask for a prescription of Celebrex when that choice should be the decision of the doctor.
