to be true MOST anti-depressents and mood stabilizers have a non-trivial suicide rate attached... is that because of the drug, or because the group taking the drug is already headed down that path. I think many drugs in this category don't "make" you do stupid things, but they do "mess with your head" in unexpected ways and people need to be watched when taking these. My opinion is that they don't "make you better", they help you cope.
